Grandparent’s Day 2025
Grandparents Day is a special holiday dedicated to honoring and celebrating grandparents and their contributions to families and society. Here at St. James, this tradition is the largest gathering on campus each year.
With class performances intertwined with our weekly chapel, students are able to show their knowledge in many subject areas. 3rd grade recited the Books of the Bible is a form of rhythmic drumming.
Fun Fact:
Grandparents Day was officially recognized in 1978 when President Jimmy Carter signed it into law. The idea came from Marian McQuade, a West Virginia woman who wanted to recognize the important role grandparents play in families and encourage younger generations to appreciate their wisdom and experiences.
