St. James Day School presented Willy Wonka Kids on March 26, 2021, at the Sullivan Performing Arts Center directed by Melanie Tipton. The play was based on the book: Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl.
St. James offers a Set Design class for 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. This way, the children could use their artistic abilities to participate in the production. They are responsible for creating the sets and props for the show. The directors of the Set Design Class are Mrs. Denise Henley and Mrs. McCarley Dubois. The students did an amazing job, and they added so much creativity, artistic flair, and fun to the show!
